I killed a bad hair day with a little flair. I forgot to pack my hair grease and conditioner to Vermont. My hair is parched!
This got me thinking. I’ve decided that I will start my natural hair journey 6 years early. The chemically processed hair has grown out. The last 5 years I’ve covered long and short hair w a hair scarf. When we move to Vermot next spring, I will be under a cozy crochet slouch cap my BFF is making; therefore, creating an ideal dreadlock growing environment. Lots of hair under a hat means warm head in Vermont winters.
Yes people, I’m going with it. My mother and mother in law will hate them, for sure, but it’s my hair and it is only hair.
I’ve combed the Internet looking at videos and photographs. Products and accessories. Extentions and sisterlocks.
Of course I’ll b blogging and tweeting and instagraming the crap out of it.
I’ll be sketching illustrations of dreads.
I’ve got new product ideas using my fused glass and mixed metal art integrated w dreadlocks.
Felted dreadlock extentions.
Oh yea.
Let’s do this!

Set up some paintings to inspire me to paint. I’m still inhibited about my art work. I dig it. I cover my life with it, but I don’t if the public does.
Where and why my aesthetic is a question I ask myself sometimes.

PolyesterStella has once again inspired me. I purchased 25 empty 4mm bullet casings from etsy that I had to drill holes into; And $14 worth of glass beads from www.thebeadpusher.etsy.com. I have excitedly ran through over two dozen new bracelets. They are pretty and awesome and rad.
Hubs informed me that for the price I purchased the shells, I could of shot off 200 rounds w our own guns in the country. With that being said, in the coming weeks, I will have good redneck fun w my family and shoot some guns.
