So different it is. hooping with it is a relearning. You must SLOW down your flow. hit just hard enough or it goes flying or hits u on the face. It requires a very light touch. I believe a sustain spinner may fall in love with this kind of hoop.
Throws, rolls and one legged hooping are real easy. Off body hooping is aces; however, breaks and everything else on-body are making me feel like I just started hooping. Like I’m trying too hard. I’m hitting my breaks too hard. I’m pumping my shoulders too much. U got to be soft.
The whip is fierce. Folding, penny rolls feel amazing because of the light weightedness. Like I’m turning over a piece of paper.
And like a poly has that bounce, the polycarb has a spring. Lots of boinging. If you execute a move, the hoop wobbles like an unpoppable bubble. This hoop will require a learning curve. It’s the lightest and thinnest hoop I own. I am going to cut it smaller though. 36”OD is way too big for my kind of flow.
