We were sitting in front the wood burning fireplace being a bunch of hens. I was telling her about Swanee music park.
I brought up cast iron skillets and my new obsession with camping. Then I mentioned how I’d love a big Dutch oven like thing that would be perfect for making a roast or chuck-wagon stew whilst camping.
“if u see anything kitchy, colorful or mismatched, I’ll take it!” I jokingly said out loud.
She gets up. Cigarette pursed between her thin lips. Viola! A big ass Le Creuset French Oven plopped into my lap.
Oh my sweet baby Jesus! We are going to stew some culinary magic in that thing.
