Best fused glass stone of this last firing. Like a watercolor of a turtle’s shell. Its an experimental glass from bullseye. Got a few remnants from BlueHeronGlass studio in West Ashley. Fresh Mike always hooks me up. I got a free new flux brush.

Blue Heron Glass studio and shop have been cranking out really amazing platters. I scavenged 1 1/2 lbs of their scraps. Yellow. Swirly purples and grasshopper green. Fresh Mike and his ladies rock!

Went to my favorite place in charleston outside the DenOfDopeness. Blue Heron Glass in west Ashley by TBonz and Manny’s.
BFF dropped me off for she hates going in there. I can spend an hour in there easy. The colors and kilns and glass.
I scored 2 lbs of French vanilla, purple, yellow and green.
I love this time of year. Once the temp drops, I’m firing at least once a week. And guess what?
I’m reintroducing glow in the dark fused glass focals!

Red and purple fused glass contains gold in it to make those deep hues of color. Thankfully, Mike at blue Heron Glass, recently finished off some pieces using the purple and I bought half a sheet of the red for a STEAL!
